Dusk- Mixed Light
Photo was taken Friday, November 14 in between the library and Performing Arts Center on campus.
Side Light- High Contrast
Photo taken Wednesday, November 12 on the Performing Arts Center Main Stage. The subject is Kim Streblow. Kim is also a photographer. She let me use her detachable flash to create this image. The shadow isn’t as hard as I think it should be.
Backlight
Photo taken Monday, November 17 at my apartment (my bedroom). I placed my night table in front of the window. The books were already stack like this, but I added the lamp because of the shape it has to offer. The lettering on the books might be distracting, but I didn’t want to photoshop them out completely, so I got them as dark as I could.
Fill Light- Bounce Card
Photo taken Friday, November 14 in the Green Room of the Performing Arts Center. The main light source is a table lamp. I used a blank piece of white paper as the bounce card. It reduced the shadow quite a bit, but if I did it again, I’d get a bigger bounce card, to reduce the shadow more.
Fill Light- Ambient Light
Photo taken Sunday, November 16 at my apartment. I had set up this make-shift photo studio the night before this was taken. There was light coming in the window and shining nicely on the bear.
Front Light- Low Key
Photo taken in the lobby of the Performance Art Center on Friday, November 14. The subject is Kate Billison. I tried to get in a darker corner so the light coming in the large windows in the lobby wasn’t as prominent. The main light source is my laptop in front of her.
Front Light- High Key 2
Photo taken Friday, November 14 behind the Performing Arts Center. It was just past dusk, not completely dark yet. I used the flash on the camera to create the high key.
Front Light- High Key 1
I created a small photo studio in my apartment on November 14. I used a lava lamp (sans lava bottle) as the main source of light shining on the teddy bear.
